Devious Journal Entry

I have dozens of pieces - including pastels, graphite drawings, and poems -- that I haven't gotten around to putting up onto dA, yet. I've some across a whole score -- a whole score, can you believe that? -- of artists that have really inspired me to work harder on my own artwork. Before, I used to have this kind of envy of better work. I would think, "I wish I could do that," and only desire the right to call such an amazing piece of art my own, my creation. That the praise they receive would be mine. However, now I'm turning over a new leaf -- thankfully! -- and I am desiring the time to work on something new, something I haven't done before.

Every new picture, poem, drawing, ect. is a new adventure.

      I want to work to the level that I admire, even if it is infuriating at times
      There's always something more to learn, something more to love.
